YOUTH INFORMATION

CONDUCT AGREEMENT *

I would like to invite you to join The Experience Youth community for a camping trip on July 20-22. This year we are making the cabin trip to all the youth (boys and girls) in Grades 7-12 from The Experience. We will be going to a cabin that belongs to MGA which is located on Crow Lake, approximately 120 km south of Fort McMurray. Access to the cabin will involve a 3 km hike. The distance of the hike is contingent upon the condition of the access road.

There is a limited cell phone access. In case of emergency, you will be able to reach me at 587-646-5383. I am a certified Level C first aider and have taken Bear Awareness training and we will be carrying bear spray.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me pastor.eric@mgachurch.com.

Please have a legal guardian sign this form.

I agree to abide by the following rules and guidelines.

  • I will respect the leaders, the drivers, and the vehicles itself for the entire trip.
  • I will ensure that I will clean and take care of the area I will be staying in, and listen attentively to all rules, directions, and guidelines.
  • I will respect the cabin leaders, buildings, and chaperones during our time at the cabin.
  • I will not be disruptive, leave group activities for any reason without permission from the Youth Pastor, or act in an inappropriate or dangerous manner.
  • I understand that should my behavior be of concern to the chaperones, drivers, cabin or staff I will be sent home.  If any of the above people can explain to the Youth Pastor why my behavior is a cause for concern, I will be sent home and any costs caused by leaving early will be paid by my parent or guardian.
  • I understand that consumption of alcohol/drugs will not be permitted during any point of this weekend (vehicles, cabin, anywhere) as this behavior is not conducive to the intent/purpose of this event.
  • I am aware that there is risk involved in being in a remote camp ground area.

These rules and guidelines are not to rob any individual of their fun or freedom but to ensure safety and enjoyment for the entire group.

By signing below you agree to abide by these guidelines.
